Cultural Burning Workshop

Nambucca Valley Landcare are working with Waarugirr Indigenous Corporation and the Rural Fire Service to deliver a cultural burning workshop.

Presentations from Waarugirr Rangers and RFS will start the day in Bowraville, and then we will proceed to a nearby property to experience a cool, cultural burn.

We are aiming to undertake the burn NEXT Friday, 25th September.

We are asking for expressions of interest, as you can imagine, trying to ensure the date, weather and permits are all ready at the same time is a challenge.

However, we acknowledge that the chosen date is short notice, so if you are interested but unable to come along, please fill in the form below. If we have lots of interest, but many unable to attend, we may be able to push the date back.

If you are able to come along, please also fill in the form to register.
