Landcare NSW, in partnership with Citizen Blue, is offering grants of up to $1,000 for member groups to design and install creative recycling and waste reduction signage.
Instead of a dense, formal application process, groups are invited to submit a short, one-page concept proposal outlining their idea alongside a simple sketch or draft design. The goal is highly visible, creative messaging that forces people to stop, think, and change their daily waste habits.
Key Guidelines:
Eligibility: Exclusive to Landcare NSW member groups.
Funding: Up to $1,000 per group (can cover single or multiple signs).
Materials: Signage must be constructed from durable, sustainable materials. (*Corflute signage will not be approved).
Authenticity: Draft designs must be original; fully AI-generated signs will be rejected.
Process: Applications are generally assessed within one week. Once approved, you can engage a local signwriter of your choice to finalise the design and quotation.
Projects will be funded on an ongoing basis until the available grant pool is exhausted. Don’t delay your submission. Submit your one-page concept and sketch to lthomson@landcarensw.org.au.
